Delete your Placeloader account from the app or request deletion here using your account email. Local history can be deleted separately.

Delete your account and cloud backup

In Placeloader, open Settings → Account → Delete account and cloud backups. Enter your current password and confirm. The account service must confirm success before the app signs you out.

If you no longer have the app, enter your account email below. Open the email we send and explicitly confirm deletion. The link expires after 30 minutes; you can request another if needed.

Service testing

Account and backup services are being tested before public launch. If this form reports a connection error, your request has not been confirmed. A request email alone does not delete your account; wait for the deletion confirmation after following its link.

If you cannot access your account email or need help, contact office@axenta.at about data or deletion requests. Do not include passwords or recovery phrases.

What deletion removes

Confirmed account deletion removes the account email and password record, account sessions, linked device credentials, pending verification/reset links, and the encrypted cloud backup from the active service database. It revokes linked-device access and prevents further authenticated uploads; an offline device may not show the sign-out until it reconnects.

Local history on your phones and copies you exported remain under your control. The account service keeps one encrypted snapshot per account; a new upload replaces it. Deletion removes that active snapshot. The service is hosted in the EU. Infrastructure backups and snapshots are not currently enabled.

Delete history on your phone

  1. If you want a copy first, use Settings → Export my data.
  2. Open Settings → Delete all data.
  3. Read the confirmation and choose Delete everything.

Repeat on other devices as needed. Remove exported files from Downloads or other destinations separately. Local deletion does not itself delete your cloud account.

Only want to pause?

Pause tracking in the app or change Android location permissions. Disabling backup stops new uploads but keeps the existing cloud snapshot. See the privacy policy and support page.
